Let me start off with the composition. What's important to notice here is the distinctive use of the golden section. This is something not every artist or image can carry off but I believe you've got enough elements to cover this.
Clearly defined use of the rule of thirds and leading lines which bring you directly to the focal point, which is pretty much pin sharp.
The tonal rage is great, this image really works in Black and White. There is enough shadowing along these delicate tones to give clarity and defination.
I would however suggest you watch your focus, maybe the "gun-hand" could have been a bit more in focus but as a gig photographer I can empathise with the strains of catching the perfect shot.
Overall the visual impact of the image is aesthetically pleasing and I must congratulate you on really capturing the moment.
